There are hundreds of ways to raise money for charity, so if you're interested in holding a fundraising event for George's Windmills, we've got some ideas below to help you get started:
- If you like a competition, why not organise a fancy dress contest, games night or zoom quiz?
- In our house we're huge gamers. If you're a streamer why not broadcast a 24 hour stream?
- If you're a keen baker, perhaps you could plan a bake sale or even an afternoon tea?
- We know life can be hard on your appearance, so why not brave a sponsored head or beard shave?
- Obviously the recent pandemic means most people are working from home, but for those who are in the office maybe consider a simple office collection?
- If you're into keeping fit, why not raise money for George's Windmills by having people sponsor you to walk or run a certain distance?
- Keen thrill seeker? How about doing something crazy and doing a bungee jump or jumping out of a plane?!
